Meet Vixey.
She was rescued as a puppy from a fur farm. If she’d stayed there, like millions of other foxes, she would have been anally or vaginally electrocuted to become part of a fur coat for companies like INTERMIX.
Fur-bearing animals, like foxes, are no different from the dogs & cats we live with and love. If we don’t stop their slaughter, no one will.

When I was a little girl I got really obsessed with pictures of frogs. My walls were covered in these brightly colored, big eyed, little guys. Most little girls have their walls flooded with cute kittens and puppies. Not to say those babies didn’t make an appearance, but frogs were my animal of choice. I loved thinking about how the photographer got to travel around and find these little creatures and be in that moment, up and close with these jumpers. It was the beginning of my fascination with photography. Maybe someday I will get to take my very own photograph of a frog like this one.
Finally…new work
Just graduated college…I have a lot of plans up ahead. However, today I had to just make some new work.
During the Manifest show I really loved the tents and balloons.
Human festivities show animals as entertainment.

My boyfriend is the most talented person I know. So freaking proud of him for winning first place at our senior show. And for having his work all over our commencement ceremony. No one deserves it more than him :)
